What is Cascade Disposal's holiday schedule?

The office will be closed on all major holidays.

The only holidays our drivers don't work are Christmas Day and New Years Day. If your pick up day falls on or after one of these holidays, your services will be delayed by one day.

What do I do when there is inclement weather?

Please check our website for updates and instructions.

When should I set my garbage out for collection?

Please have all material available by 6:00 AM on your service day or the night before your service day.

If I go on vacation can I stop my account?

Yes, vacation credit is given if your account is serviced less than three times in a one month period. Please contact us before leaving so that we can adjust your account and notify the drivers.

Trucks and Containers

Can Cascade Disposal pick up Bulky items, Junk and Debris that will not fit in the cart?

Yes, for an additional fee we can pick up any extra items that will not fit in your cart. Please give us a call at 541-382-6660 to schedule a pickup or debris removal. Some examples are: couches, dressers, refrigerators, hot water heaters, desks, TV’s, mattresses, box springs etc…

We are not able to collect household hazardous waste materials. Household hazardous waste items can be taken to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility at Knott Landfill in Bend. A complete list of acceptable items can be found on the Deschutes County Website.

Does Cascade Disposal charge for extra trash?

Yes we do charge for extra trash. An extra is defined as any additional bag or can set out for pick up above your subscribed service level. An "extra" fee may also apply if your can is overflowing or if your can is overweight. Cans may be filled level to the top, but anything above this point or next to the can constitutes an extra and is chargeable. If your can is overweight, overflowing or you are continually putting out extras for pick up, you may need to increase your level of service. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 541-382-6660 or cust2012@wcnx.org to inquire about any changes to your account.

If my garbage is missed what do I do?

Please contact our customer service at 541-382-6660 or cust2012@wcnx.org immediately so we are aware. If we are not contacted, we do not know you have been missed. (Return trip fee may apply)

Can I pay my bill online?

Yes, using our web site you can view and pay your statements online. Go back to the home page and click online bill pay to sign up.

Do I have to use Cascade Disposal's Online Bill Pay to view my statements online?

Yes, but you don't need to add your payment information to view online statements, or sign up for paperless billing. Just leave your payment information blank when signing up for an online account

Does Cascade Disposal offer yard debris service?

Yes, within Bend city limits. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 541-382-6660 or cust2012@wcnx.org for availability and rates.

What is yard waste?

Grass clippings, brush, weeds, pine needles, plant prunings, branches no larger than 2” in diameter and 36” in length. Raw fruit & vegetable scraps are also acceptable such as apple cores, banana peels, potato skins, zucchini, pumpkins, coffee grounds & filters, tea bags, etc.

Does Cascade Disposal offer Food Waste recycling?

Yes, for our commercial customers. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 541-382-6660 or cust2012@wcnx.org for availability and rates.

Does Cascade Disposal offer larger containers for special projects or clean outs?

Yes, we have 3-yard and 4-yard containers as well as 10 yard, 20 yard, and 30 yard roll off boxes available. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 541-382-6660 or cust2012@wcnx.org for availability and rates.

Does Cascade Disposal offer any other services?

Yes we have Portable Toilets, Special Event trailers and Storage Boxes available. Please contact our Customer Service department at 541-389-5646 or cust2912@wcnx.org for availability and rates.

If I am a business can I recycle more than just cardboard?

Yes, please ask Customer Service about additional commingle and glass recycling options in addition to your cardboard service.
