The Environmental Center’s Rethink Waste Project is accepting applications for the next round of the 2024 Community Innovation Fund (CIF)! This program will provide a total of $54,000 awarded to individuals, businesses, or community organizations to implement reduce, reuse, recycle, and compost projects throughout Deschutes County. Take the Rethink Food Waste Challenge! The free 4 week home challenge is designed to help you find out what– and how much– food is going to waste in your home. Over the course of the month, you will receive one email per week with tips and tricks on how to reduce your wasted food.
